About The Event
Registration information coming soon!
Do you love dock diving, cream puffs and food on a stick? Then you have to join us for the Wisconsin State Fair Canine Dock Diving Challenge. Cash prizes awarded each day!
Again this year, we will be bringing the 40' pool and dock to the big top!
Two Divisions! We will have 2 divisions at the Fair this year: Open (0' - 18'11") and Pro (19' and above). Both divisions will be represented in the daily finals and both divisions will be awarded prizes in the daily finals.
Daily Competitions: Dogs competing in daily competitions will be placed in a division based on their longest jump in that sesssion. The top three dogs in each division will be awarded a rosette ribbon.
Daily Final Jump Off: Each day, the top seven dogs with the longest jumps in both the Open and Pro division will qualify for the Daily Final Jump Off.
A “Bubble Board” will be posted after each session to list the longest jump of the day for each team.
After the last competition session, the final “Bubble Board” will be posted and the seven dogs with the longest jump in each of the divisions will advance to the Daily Final Jump Off.
If multiple dogs have the same bubble score, each team’s next longest jump will break the tie. If the next longest jump is also tied, both teams will qualify for the Daily Final Jump Off.
It is the handler’s responsibility to determine if their team has advanced to the Daily Final Jump Off.
Each team will be allowed two jumps in the Daily Final Jump Off. There is no entry fee for the Final Jump Off.
The three dogs with the longest jumps in each division will be the Daily Final Jump Off winners.
Please see complete rules and registration information on the Wisconsin State Fair website.
What to bring:
- Current vaccination record. Out-of-State dogs must also have a CVI, Certificate of Veterinary Inspection, that can be obtained from your veterinarian.
- A wagon or cart to haul your crates and other gear from the parking area to the Canine Sports Arena. While we have obtained the closest possible drop-off parking area, it is still a bit of a walk to the tent.
- Crates, mats, dog food/treats/water, towels, chairs, battery powered fans and any other items needed for you or your dog's comfort. There is crating space in the Canine Sports Arena and an adjoining tent, however space is somewhat limited, and we ask that you try to keep your encampment as compact as possible. There isn't room for additional canopies, so you can leave them at home.
- If you have questions about the accommodations, don't hesitate to drop us an email.
